The Videography Services Coordinator is responsible for producing, creating, and editing video news and special project videos, coordinating and maintaining videography and editing equipment, and maintaining media database and video archives.

Additional Department Summary:

The Coordinator of Videography Services position provides support to the Center for Advanced Public Safety (CAPS) within the Department of Computer Science. This position assists the Marketing Department within CAPS by shooting video and editing video for CAPS and its external sponsors. Other duties include the coordination, maintenance and purchase of videography equipment; creating and assisting in the production of special video projects for internal and external sponsors. Assessing workflows and deadlines and establishing priorities for the work of the department. Management of digital media. Allocation and dissemination of video files for internal and external clients. Contribute to the ordering, receiving and organizing of supplies by evaluating need of the department. Work very closely with the Marketing department and CAPS administration in the production of videos for use in education, promotion, training, demo, web courses for CAPS, sponsors and CAPS developed products. Responsible for researching and mastering new technical developments due to continual change in technology.This will also include the management of real-time captioning of lectures, video captioning, acquiring software and equipment to make technologies accessible such as those that will be used to caption or transcribe video and audio recordings. This includes CAPS and CAPS sponsored video presentations.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year relevant work experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and photography.

Preferred Qualifications:

Adobe Certified Pro Final Cut Pro Certification is Preferred. A bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communication, Telecommunication and Film, Journalism or related field is preferred. 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 28537.56 Midpoint - $ 39956.76
