The Associate Director for Environmental Programs, Division of Environmental and Industrial Programs provides leadership and directs development and implementation of all programs assigned to the Environmental Programs section, including environmental hazard assessment and remediation, environmental occupation accreditation and certification, environmental compliance consulting and practical research in the area of environmental assessment and remediation technologies and methods. This position also represents the College of Continuing Studies and University in collaborative relationships with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) and Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), through which professional standards and policies are jointly developed and implemented.
