Detailed Job Description

The Coordinator UA Early College is responsible for supporting UA Early College students who are enrolled in UA college courses fall, spring, and summer for a supportive learning community.

Additional Department Summary:

The Coordinator of Learning Communities will have primary responsibility for developing and implementing vibrant learning communities for UA Early College students – online and on campus. Position communicates with UA faculty on a regular basis for academic performance, and implement necessary academic follow up utilizing UA resources and peer coaches. The Learning Communities Coordinator will maintain full responsibility for the UA Early College Summer Residential Experience, marketing and promotions as well as live as staff in residency during Summer I and Summer II. Occasional night and weekend work required.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent communication skills, vita interest in working with young people, and the ability to live in residence on the UA campus during the summer.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer Master's in psychology, student development. Housing, residential community experience, experience working in a college/university setting. Experience with high school age students. Experience with Talisma, OnBase, Qualtrix, Banner, and/or Blackboard, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite. 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 28537.56 Midpoint - $ 39956.76
