Full load of teaching duties to include introduction to criminal justice, policing, and writing in criminal justice. Ability to teach forensic investigations or law/courts is desired. Additional duties include providing general advising to undergraduates and performing service to the department and the university.
The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor or Master’s (for appointment as Instructor) in criminal justice or a closely related field; Ph.D. (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) in criminal justice or a closely related field; commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
Experience using active learning strategies and teaching in online and hybrid formats.
