Teach introductory composition courses and basic speaking/listening courses to international students; provide departmental committee and program service; work with program directors and faculty to shape and develop the English language and culture program and to participate in activities related to instructor training, assessment, technology initiatives and program development.
Required: MA (for appointment as Instructor), PhD (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) specialization in TESOL; knowledge of research and/or graduate study in TESOL theory and practices; experience teaching speaking and writing/composition at multiple tiers in ESL composition and/or English language programs.
Desired: experience with digital writing instruction and computer-assisted language learning.
