Full-time temporary faculty position to teach in Black World Studies.
To teach in the Black World Studies (BWS) program and contribute to the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) program. Ability to teach courses in African, African-American, and/or Atlantic Studies as well as courses in multiculturalism that will complement our current course offerings.
PhD by date of appointment (for appointment to Visiting Assistant Professor) or ABD (for appointment to Instructor); demonstration of teaching excellence; teaching and research experience in African/African American Studies. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a strong commitment to curriculum development, multicultural programming, student mentoring, and/or community engagement.
