This non-tenure track academic year position will support the undergraduate Biological Engineering program in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas. The successful candidate will teach selected undergraduate courses, provide support in teaching other undergraduate courses, serve as the liaison with the Freshman Engineering Program, assist in advising undergraduates with faculty partners, and assist with processes for ABET accreditation of the undergraduate program. The successful candidate’s teaching, research, extension and/or industry experience should complement and enhance the existing biological engineering curriculum and department strengths in sustainable water, energy and food systems.
Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree with at least one degree in engineering, or equivalent
1. PhD in disciplines such as biological, bio-systems, ecological or environmental engineering or closely related field is preferred, with at least one degree in engineering
2. Experience in teaching, research, extension and/or industry in the sustainable management of food, energy and water
