The Cultural ResourcesInvestigator is a senior level professional research position requiringexpertise and experience in basic and applied laboratory and fieldinvestigations in an academic discipline including Anthropology, Archaeology,History, or closely related field.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in Anthropology, Archaeology,History, or a closely related discipline, OR a Master's degree in Anthropology,Archaeology, History, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of five years ofexperience of full-time, or equivalent, individual research in the relevantresearch area is required. Ability to apply conventional research methods andtechniques in their field of expertise to expeditiously organize and executeresearch tasks. Possess a combination of training, experience, and talent inresearch administration. Possess the experience and skill necessary to designresearch strategies and develop realistic budgets for research projects.Possess strong interpersonal skills sufficient to work in a team environment.May work on or supervise more than one team (project) at a time and will be constantlyrequired to interface with and often supervise researchers and workers fromother disciplines with contrasting training, abilities, and proclivities. Musthave independent and innovative thinking skills, decision-making skills, andcapable of integrative thinking at the highest level of complexity.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Must have the ability to drive from site tosite. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have anacceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. 59 Monthly (exempt): -Minimum - $ 42993.60 Midpoint - $ 62337.60
