KWST Video Production Specialist
The video production specialist shoots and edits video for the two community TV stations run by the University of La Verne Communications Department. The position also requires crewing on and directing multi-camera productions such as city council meetings, live call in shows, concerts and sports. Other duties include creating DVDs, uploading programs to Vimeo and YouTube and DVD duplication.
1) Shoot video
2) Edit video
3) Create DVDs
4) Compress videos for playout on server.
5) Upload videos to Vimeo and YouTube.
6) Direct live multi-camera shows: City council meetings, Ask the Mayor, concerts.
7) Dub tapes to DVD
8) Duplicate and label DVDs
Required: High School diploma and two years of professional video production experience.
Can substitute two years of college video production experience for one year of professional experience.
Good oral communication skills.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere desirable.
Experience in PEG access a plus.
