Detailed Job Description

Performs advancedprofessional accounting activities for a specialized, complex assignment orfunctional area requiring application of an advanced professional knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices. Ensures or evaluates compliance andaccountability of financial programs and business operations/processes. Maysupervise or lead lower level professional accountants and other staff.

Additional Department Summary:

The position monitors and controls the Student Receivables and LoansReceivables reconciliation process, serving as team leader for reconciliationfunctions.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting orFinance and three (3) years of professional accounting experience; OR aMaster's degree in Accounting or Business and 2 years of professionalaccounting experience; OR CPA and 2 years of professional accountingexperience.Additional Required DepartmentMinimum Qualifications: Good communication skills, both written andverbal. Ability to make decisions based on careful analysis and thoughtfuljudgments. Also required are computerskills, not limited to spread sheet applications, personal computing networksand internet software. Must have theability to work effectively under stress and high levels of activity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer experience at an Institution of Higher Education with more than10,000 students, experience with Ellucian Banner, and some experience workingwith and serving customers.58 Monthly (exempt): -Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
