Detailed Job Description

Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible for all purchasing and receiving of the food, beverage, and equipment supplies to meet the training needs of HCAT programming, including the input of any related accounting functions within the college's Datatel system. Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the position is responsible for the operation,security and maintenance of the equipment and facilities at HCAT locations. Additional responsibility for the daily administration and coordination of the HCAT noncredit program.  

Required Qualifications

Culinary certificate or diploma required.
Industry certification in safe food handling.
Five years' experience in food service or culinary industry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access all HCAT facilities and program activities.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Intermediate level skill in standard word processing, spreadsheets, database management and POS systems. Ability to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate the needs of the HCAT Institute, both on and off campus locations, including regular evenings and weekends.  

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree preferred.
Three years' experience in culinary education at a college level preferred.
