Detailed Job Description
The Program Assistant-Business Division, School of Business and Law, is responsible for administrative functions, clerical and marketing support services to the Instructional Specialist, faculty, and staff
High School diploma required, some college preferred.
Minimum of one year Microsoft office experience.
Proficiency in Windows-based software and voicemail preferred.
Ability to type accurately using word processing software.
Demonstrated computer skills, using a variety of software packages.
Ability to work with very minimal supervision in the absence of supervisors and administrators.
Demonstrated customer service, problem solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofreading and editing skills. Attention to details, deadlines and accuracy of information disseminated.
Some graphic design experience: Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Adobe Premier preferred.
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with students, faculty, administrators, government agencies, business/industry representatives, community organizations, the general public.
Ability to work M-TH 11a-7p, F 8a-4p. Ability to work as early as 7:30a for office back up.
