Under the direction of faculty supervisor and program coordinator, will plan and conduct meetings at local high school or junior high school for families enrolled in SF program. Meets with school counselors and administration to screen and select families. Meets as needed with school faculty, staff, and volunteers to coordinate and update activities. Meets with weekly with families for information sessions and activities.
High School Diploma or GED plus some secondary education is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Science emphasis preferred.
Previous experience with SFP.
Knowledge of Strengthening Families Program including its goals and structure.
Skill in use of computers and computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and data bases.
Ability to coordinate, plan, and conduct meetings.
Abilities to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to communicate effectively; verbally, and in writing.
Ability to exercise good judgement and initiative to facilitate conflict resolution.
