Detailed Job Description

Provides college-wide leadership for services provided by the Bridges to Success program. This includes the design and implementation of academic support systems and programs aimed at closing achievement gaps among at risk student cohorts with focus on strategies that improve retention and graduation rates.

Essential Job Functions

1. Assists with leading the operations of the Bridges to Success Program on all campuses.
2. Designs and implements academic support systems in collaboration with Deans, Faculty, Program Directors, SL Coaches and advisors.
3. Develops and implements advising, tutoring and special alert systems that identify and support at-risk students.
4. Designs and implements programs and strategies that support student success and develops life skills with a targeted focus on retention and graduation.
5. Develops and maintains community partnerships that provide service-learning and volunteer opportunities for Bridges to Success students.
6. Works in collaboration with the Transition Services Office to provide support for recruitment and transition strategies.
7. Provides input and implements strategies to create and maintain a supportive educational environment for Bridges to Success students.
8. Designs and implements events and programs that support Bridges to Success student learning and celebration of achievement.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.


1. Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution [preferred].
2. Demonstrated commitment to serving young adults and teens with low socio-economic backgrounds.
3. Regular travel between campuses throughout the work day is [required].
4. Weekend and evening participation in events and activities is required as needed.
5. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, and student success and learning.
6. Must be able to perform all of the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

 $42,645 - $64,807 per year
