Detailed Job Description

Utilizes pedagogically sound principles to assist faculty with the integration of technology into instruction to enhance teaching and learning. This position works in collaboration with other academic support professionals to provide instructional technology evaluation, faculty support, and documentation to enhance teaching and learning. This position provides consultations with faculty and others in academic areas.

Additional Department Summary:

This position uses graphical user interfaces and other administrative and monitoring tools to assist in supporting the use of the learning management system (LMS) and other instructional resources. Provides resolution to LMS user and course issues in the LMS. Assists with testing patches, fixes, and updates to the systems. Serves as a key liaison between the technical administrators for the LMS and the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) staff. Works closely with technical support staff in support of the LMS and other tools. Assists with the support of the integration of the LMS and other tools with the student information system. Monitors vendor sites and user forums for news about these systems.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and one (1) year related experience, OR Master's degree. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.

Skills and Knowledge:

Must be able to work well in a team environment, communicate well, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using the graphical user interface of a learning management system or other enterprise-wide instructional technology resources in higher education. Experience assisting instructors in with instructional technology. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
