Detailed Job Description

The Department of Management in the School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position, open rank, to start August 2013. Candidates to be considered are those with demonstrated experience and expertise within Human Resources, both as generalists or in specialty areas such as compensation and benefits, training and development, employee and labor relations, and/or diversity management.

Job Duties

The position requires demonstrated excellence of teaching effectiveness, and the ability to teach on-site and on-line courses in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior as well as contributions to specific University-wide courses. The ideal candidate will be able to support the Management department in growing a proposed concentration in Human Resources Management.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Management or related field from a research-oriented university is required. The position requires the ability to maintain a high level of scholarship (applicants for the rank of Associate Professor or higher must have a proven research record), advising and mentoring students, and participating in departmental and university-wide committees.
