Detailed Job Description
The Senior Program Assistant will support the Executive Director of Development, the Leadership Gifts team and the upcoming capital campaign program.
Additional Description of Duties:
Duties will include managing the Executive Director's calendar for internal and external appointments, including scheduling, travel arrangements and associated tasks. This person will also provide support for management of the capital campaign including reporting, correspondence, and development of presentation materials.
He/she supports the acknowledgement letter process for leadership donors to the university, working with the President's office, VP for University Advancement, Advancement Operations, Advancement Communications, and leadership gift officers.
Navigation of the Millennium database and iModules registration system will be a daily task, along with mail merges and work with excel spreadsheetsand power point presentations.
Will also be responsible for generating capital and non-annual fund pledge reminders.
BA/BS preferred, with minimum of two years of experience in a non-profit administrative role, preferably in a university development office or fundraising environment.
Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
Strong writing skills and highly effective interpersonal and communication skills are required. This person will interact with senior university staff, external.
