Detailed Job Description

The Assistant Director for the Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) Program will provide leadership and oversight of the daily operations to ensure that all contract mandates are fulfilled.

Additional Department Summary:

The Assistant Director will supervise and schedule on-site evaluation teams, along with conducting assessments. In addition, the Assistant Director oversees daily operations such as data collection for reporting and relationships with contract personnel. The Assistant Director will direct activities in absence of Program Director.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Child Development or a closely related field and one year of experience in the field OR Bachelor's degree in Child Development and a minimum of three years of experience in the field.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Successful experience in service delivery to children and/or families. Ability to travel overnight locally, statewide and out-of-state as needed.

Skills and Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, funders and external constituencies. Ability to supervise professional and support personnel. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of personal computers to include standard office software. Working knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, and/or database. Ability to work well with diverse populations, strong organizational skills, and good oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
