Provide leadership for and coordination of academic and administrative activities at our MacDill AFB Education Office teaching location.

Basic Function:

Support the University’s mission and core values as a contributing member of the University’s community. Perform as the primary assistant to the Director and act as the Director at the MacDill Education Office during periods of his/her absence.

Provide academic advising to MacDill and Tampa Ed Center students, as necessary.

Serve as lead on all admissions and recruitment activities for the MacDill Education Office.

Supervise and coordinate all personnel and administrative activities in the MacDill Education Office. Perform other duties as assigned by the director.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university required. Experience with academic advising and administration. Excellent supervisory, customer service, and student recruitment skills. Ability to effectively plan and organize work. Excellent computer skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong academic advising, customer service, and student recruitment skills, with experience in a higher education environment. Prior experience working with military and returning adult students is a plus.
