The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Director of our highly regarded Pathologists’ Assistant Program, which results in a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Pathologists’ Assistant. This is a 12 month term faculty position with a starting date of July 1, 2015.

The applicant must have a working knowledge of the requirements and the Essentials set forth by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), for pathologists’ assistant programs. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, advise students, and to supervise all aspects of the program, including dealing with reaccreditation requirements.
Qualifications for this position include a master’s degree along with graduation from a NAACLS accredited pathologists’ assistant educational program, and American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC U.S.) certification as a pathologists’ assistant.
