The Department of Health Policy & Management (HPM) at Kent State University's College of Public Health is recruiting a colleague to join the department as a full-time non-tenure track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. This new faculty member will be primarily responsible for developing and teaching Health Policy & Management (HPM) courses in the new online Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program. Depending upon the faculty member's interests and expertise, these courses may include:
-Emerging Issues in Health Policy & Management
-Public Health Administration
-Cost-Benefit Analysis of Public Health Programs
-Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Public Health Programs
-Health Care Systems
-Public Health Law & Ethics
-Health Care Finance
-Health policy & management electives
The applicant should have an earned doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, DrPH) by the date of appointment in the areas of public health, health policy, health care management, or closely related discipline (ABD candidates will also be considered). Excellent instructors with prior online teaching experience at the graduate level are preferred.
