The Re-Enrollment Advisor is responsible for creating a supportive environment that promotes student satisfaction and retention through the development of ongoing relationships with new and enrolled students.
Responsible for maintaining a student database and retention goals. Assist students with pre-registration and respond to questions regarding degree requirements, programs, policies and procedures, financial assistance programs, transfer credit assessment, and general university services.
Make appropriate referrals to campus officials as may be necessary throughout the educational experience.
Contact enrolled students in advance of term stat date and throughout academic program, to ensure that each student’s initial experience with registration, financial aid, ordering books and technology setup have prepared the student to start as planned.
Serves as the principle point of contact for the students and is responsible for addressing student issues, referring students to appropriate academic advisors as needed, serve as a student liaison with other functional areas of the organization, and support university practices which may contribute to increased student satisfaction and retention.
Demonstrated success working with students or customers in a service-oriented environment.
Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple projects, prioritize work, and possess strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in office environment and manage high call volume with heavy outreach.
Detail oriented so as to complete work assignments accurately and on time.
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Graduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
