Responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Resources Information/Management System and other systems supported by the HR Team including Datatel, Kronos, applicant tracking system and Windstar etc. Assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Also responsible for assisting with compensation related activities such as design, development, implementation, and administration of salary compensation, incentive, and recognition programs
MAJOR HRIS RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide overall project management for HR system initiatives.
Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Manage all HR system upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation.
Create and maintain interfaces amongst HR databases.
Liaison between HR subject matter expert and IS staff in regards to all technical projects.
Analyze and troubleshoot database issues, understanding sense of urgency related to deadline driven tasks.
Develop and maintain a variety of reports, queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Establish and maintain up to date HRIS functional departmental documentation, standard operating procedures as well as a comprehensive HRIS reports library.
Develop client user procedures and documentation. Train end users on new processes / functionality.
Train new system users.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support and applying key technologies.
Plan, budget, and forecast HRIS needs and applications. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRIS functionality.
MAJOR COMPENSATION RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, development, and implement Company wide salary programs including salary structures and guidelines.
Research market data and establish competitive pay policy and salary ranges.
Evaluate new jobs and determine appropriate job placement within pay structure.
Develop and communicate compensation policies and procedures.
Assure Company compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Recommend individual salary actions.
Administration of annual salary merit increase program.
Create ad-hoc salary & cost analysis reports for executive management as needed.
Assist with performance management appraisal systems and design as relates to compensation.
Assist with all functions of Human Resources as needed.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of HRIS experience is required.
Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.
Ability to research, gather, and analyze data.
Ability to prepare statistical and analytical reports.
Ability to communicate with technical and non technical users.
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to Compensation3-5 years of Compensation related responsibilities desired.
Working knowledge of "Datatel" a definite plus.
"CCP" (Certified Compensation Professional) certification a plus
" CAPM" (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification a plus.
