The Associate Director for Instructional Technology & Academic Services administers the academic and technological support services for the degree programs and courses facilitated through the College of Continuing Studies division of Academic Outreach

Additional Department Summary:

This position directs the instructional technology and services through implementation design teams, development of strategy to support distance delivery formats, management of course management systems, and development of technological support services for students and faculty. Also, responsible for the development, implementation, and management of academic services provided by the Division. Other responsibilities include academic program development and maintenance.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in education, adult education, instructional technology, communications, business or related field from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in higher or continuing education, technology, or business field OR Doctoral degree in education, adult education, instructional technology, communications, business or related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent communication skills, ability to design evaluation and research projects, knowledge of academic and/or instructional design services, excellent interpersonal skills, experience with budgeting, financial management, and supervision of personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a college or university environment preferred. Prefer direct experience in the development and administration of academic credit programs for non-traditional student audiences. 60 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 49878.36 Midpoint - $ 72321.60
