Detailed Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, multi-tasking individual to provide administrative support to the Human Resources office. This person is responsible for the efficient and effective flow of business operations for a very busy front office. This person handles front office reception, administrative duties such as answering the phones, mail distribution, managing special projects, reports and materials for presentations. Plans, facilitates, and coordinates activities for highly visible events and/or meetings. Manages calendars, coordinates meetings, makes travel arrangements, prepares expense reports, and provides website maintenance. This person will also hire, train, and supervise student workers who assist with the front office functions.  

Additional Description of Duties:

This person will also provide administrative support to the Recruiting team, scheduling interviews, responding to applicant inquiries, closing out positions, preparing communications to applicants, and overseeing onboarding paperwork for new hires including I9 verifications. Other duties as assigned.  

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience preferred or minimum 2 years administrative support experience in a fast paced environment. Requires excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, organizational skills, problem-solving ability and ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities. Requires a self-directed individual with a high degree of discretion due to confidential nature of HR communications. Requires a professional demeanor as well as a commitment to customer service. Requires the ability to effectively function as a member of a team and interact with all levels of professional, administrative and functional staff.
