The Manager of Marketing Communications has vital role in strategy development and execution of integrated marketing and communications programs that build awareness, interest and on-going engagement for recruitment and retention of students in QU's 20+ Graduate and Law Programs. The role will encompass working with digital and Web-based marketing tools and outlets as well as complementary use of traditional media. A high level of collaboration with other departments in the university (undergrad admissions, online education, public affairs office, etc) is required to ensure alignment and synergy in brand messaging and resource use, as well as directing outside vendors.

In this newly created role, the individual will: develop and implement robust social media, email and CRM programs; develop content for both electronic and traditional media to promote the Programs to prospective and admitted students; improve SEO and provides analytics to enable sound marketing decisions; expand and rationalize the technology platforms to use resources in the most effective manner across the university; write content for the web and complementary communication materials; support all related marketing communications outreach to the public and prospective students.  

Job Duties

In this newly created role, the individual will:

Required Minimum Qualifications

Well qualified candidates must have the following:

-Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
-At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing communication or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
-Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms, web analytics, SEO, web content management,
-Proven skills in market research, analysis, promotion, advertising, public relations, and other marketing communication techniques;
-Excellent writing and communication skills;
-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders across the enterprise.
