Detailed Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the management and development of alumni chapters. Attends chapter meetings and presents information about the Alumni Association and the University. Works with chapter volunteers to encourage alumni activity which promotes support for UA and NAA programs. Development of scholarships. Works with alumni to organize new chapters and revive inactive chapters. Responsible for all new chapter development requests.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Education or related field and more than six months of public relations, marketing, sales or related experience OR a bachelor's degree in other fields with at least one year of related experience. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application. Proficiency in the operation and use of personal computers and standard software (Microsoft Office), especially database, word processing and desktop publishing. Ability to interact with faculty, students, and administrators, and volunteer alumni leadership throughout the nation. A valid U.S. driver's license. Ability to travel extensively on a regular basis including some overnight travel. Excellent public speaking skills, good verbal communications skills, effective listening skills, ability to meet and address the public on individual and group basis. Ability to travel at night. Ability to work nights and weekends. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record as determined by the insurance carrier. 55 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 25833.60 Midpoint - $ 34444.80
