FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITION BUSINESS/ACCOUNTING: (Department of Business, Technology, Arts and Professional Studies Division) (MCCC/MTA Unit Position) Start Date: Anticipated September 2015 (Positions Are Contingent on Budget Resources Being Available)
The Business Department is looking for an individual who can teach a wide range of courses in Business and Accounting which include Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting I and II, Managerial Accounting along with other courses in the department.
Masters Degree in Business or related field with at least 2 years college teaching experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Experience in curriculum design, and commitment to professional development in the area of Business instruction. Ability to teach Introduction to Business, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Finance, as well as Accounting I and II and Managerial Accounting courses. Demonstrated ability to teach within, and contribute positively to, a diverse, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student population and campus environment required.
Community college teaching experience. Business and community outreach experience. Online course development and instructional technology background. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Salary: Anticipated starting salary range is $42,921.00 - $65,000.00 per academic year; complete fringe benefit package. Actual salary will be determined in accordance with classification determination of MCC/MTA salary schedule commensurate with education and experience.
