Evaluates transfer credits from other institutions to include the processing and entering of equivalencies. Researches records and forwards findings to department chairs/advisors for official evaluations of incoming transfer work. Records transcripts and evaluations as appropriate. Processes transfers and college placement exams. Performs any other administrative, fiscal, staff support, and/or planning activities associated with the transfer credit process.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree or any combination of education and experience totaling four years is required.
Knowledge of Transfer Credit best practices.
Knowledge of content and curriculum.
Skill in word processing, spreadsheets and database software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Banner.
Skill in filing and records management.
Ability to be highly detailed.
Ability to work independently on a multi-task level.
Ability to prioritize and follow-through to completion.
Ability to work with diversity of personalities.
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Ability to anticipate departmental and student needs.
