Detailed Job Description

The Coordinator eLearning is responsible for administration of one or more online learning management system(s) to include record-keeping, reporting, training and troubleshooting. The incumbent will also utilize creative and technical skills in the designing and implementing of effective eLearning solutions including, but, not limited to online courses, simulations, podcasts, webcasts and mobile media content which have the power to engage and inform a diverse audience.

Additional Department Summary:

Coordinates the creation, implementation and administration of eLearning in the Department of Human Resources' Learning and Development area.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of training related experience which may include creating and delivering learning content via instructor-led training, online, blended or other technology-mediated learning and/or administration of training programs or systems; OR Master's degree and some related experience.Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.As part of the interview process, applicants must be prepared to present at least one sample of their work creating and utilizing elearning solutions such as online courses, tutorials, videos, podcasts, etc.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills. Strong organizational skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy. Strong trouble-shooting skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a team environment to meet deadlines. Demonstrative ability to work with diverse clientele and translate their learning needs; and to generate and apply new or unique ideas or solutions. Strong computer skills to include MS office suite, basic PC troubleshooting as it relates to online learning platforms, and software used to create eLearning courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in educational technology, instructional technology, instructional design, interactive technology or related field. Experience developing learning in a higher education environment preferred. LMS administration experience. Experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, HTML5, JavaScript, graphic design and video editing software, Dreamweaver, Photoshop or Fireworks, and/or Flash.57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
