Detailed Job Description

The Accountant III supervises and participates in the maintenance of advanced accounting and financial records. Prepares integrated financial and statistical reports, statements, projections, and recommendations. Generally supervises the activities of a staff within a business unit or department.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and four (4) years professional accounting experience; OR a Masters degree in Accounting or Business and 3 years professional accounting experience; OR CPA and 3 years professional accounting experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

CPA and 3 years professional accounting experience required. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer previous professional accounting experience in cost accounting or in the practice or audit of construction accounting. Prefer a minimum of two years managing exempt and nonexempt staff. 59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 42993.60 Midpoint - $ 62337.60
