Represent Information Services by serving as a key member of the Medical School leadership team to formulate and implement goals and initiatives related to IT systems.
Work closely with Information Services to remain current on university technology strategies, services and programs and to represent these to the medical sciences as future services and programs are developed.
Liaise within units of Information Services and all Schools of Health Sciences to leverage and maximize the use of existing Quinnipiac technologies and services.
Advance on-going initiatives related to paperless curriculum, curriculum mapping, document imaging, online assessment, online evaluations, and more.
Advance on-going academic initiatives related to faculty learning management systems, virtual microscope, patient encounter, electronic examination, portfolio assessment and more.
Work with Medical School administrators, medical educators and faculty committees to create and revise policies that facilitate the support of technology enhanced learning.
Make technology accessible, understandable and appealing to Medical School faculty and students by using an array of outreach strategies.
Research and evaluate new learning technologies.
Other tasks as needed.
Advanced degree in a relevant field is required.
Considerable knowledge of medical schools is desired.
