Detailed Job Description

The Segment Producer researches and produces specific content for use in multi-media programming for broadcast and non-broadcast audiences.

Additional Department Summary:

This position serves as a producer of segments utilized in longer form broadcast and non-broadcast programming. The position works closely with external contacts, including clients and interview subjects, and with professional staff and faculty from the University.

Required Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience, or bachelor's degree and one year of experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Requires experience as a researcher, writer, production assistant, or videographer/editor in a broadcast or multimedia production environment. Ability to travel extensively, work long hours and on week-ends and holidays as necessary is required. Ability to lift, handle and maneuver tools, materials and supplies of the job up to 10 pounds is required. Must be 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier. 55 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 25833.60 Midpoint - $ 34444.80
