Detailed Job Description
Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment, administration and coordination of a collegiate Women's Track and Field and Cross country programs which focuses on the total development of the student-athlete.
Successful identification, evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified student-athletes. Assist the Head Coach with the preparation of daily practices, recruiting, meet day preparations while adhering to Quinnipiac, NEC and NCAA rules and regulations. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: travel arrangements, meet scheduling, athlete entries, and other administrative duties, summer events, clinics and assisting in the future development of Track and Field and Cross country alumni and community relations.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. 1 year of successful intercollegiate coaching experience preferred. Level 1 certification preferred, or other state coaching certification required. Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment, administration and coordination of a collegiate Women's Track and Field and Cross country programs which focuses on the total development of the student-athlete. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national Track and Field community.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree preferred.
