Detailed Job Description
Teach on a per-course basis.
Teach undergraduate courses in the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology (EMET) Bachelor's Completion Degree Program at the Miami University Regional Campuses in Hamilton, OH or Middletown, OH.
Candidates must have the ability to teach all or most of the following courses: Process Control; Computerized Instrumentation; Electromechanical Control Systems; Industrial Automation; Modern Manufacturing Systems. Courses are offered during the evenings and weekends; most courses are distance-learning courses, delivered by video conferencing (IVDL) and WebEx.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or closely related field; a minimum of three years of industrial experience or professional licensure; a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
A Master's degree in engineering or a minimum of five years of technologically-current work or postsecondary teaching experience; experience with distance learning and video conferencing systems.
