The Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration of a program(s) or department. May assist with program design, management, and implementation. Serves as liaison between the program/department and other departments or the community. Position may supervise staff or students, provide complex administrative assistance, create promotional materials, and/or assist in the development of other potential programs. Position may be responsible for budgetary information. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:The ability to travel alone out of town, sometimes overnight, an interest in working with prospective college students and their families; the ability to work with different cultures and groups of people. The functions of this position will require some evening and weekend work. The position requires the capability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and carry large quantities of sometimes heavy recruitment materials.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two (2) years related experience, OR an associate's degree and a minimum of four (4) years related experience, OR a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of six (6) years related experience. Skills and Knowledge:Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers and standard application software (word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management programs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's Degree is preferred. 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 28537.56 Midpoint - $ 39956.76
