Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants for a Faculty Associate Dean of Learning and Outcomes Assessment in the School for Professional Studies. The Associate Dean core responsibilities are administration, teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities. He/she reports to the Dean and oversees the procedures and processes related to issues of learning and outcomes assessment. The specified duties will be required to perform duties as a faculty member on a 9-month appointment and the duties of this position over eleven months (with a stipend that corresponds to the position). Education and experience equivalent to: doctorate degree related to an existing SPS program required; 3-5 years of assessment experience required; relevant higher education experience required; experience teaching adult students with the capability and willingness to teach online courses to SPS students required.The position is an annually-renewable nine-month appointment with a regular but flexible work schedule, which may include evening or weekend teaching. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
