Detailed Job Description

Under the direction of the UCCU Center Director, manage Guest Services and Concessions in the UCCU Center, the Brent Brown Ballpark, the South Side Grill and any other assigned events on campus. Perform a variety of service tasks and supervise others in their assigned work.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited intuition with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling 4 years. See preferred qualifications for department/program-specific qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited trade, technical or Institution of higher learning with a degree in Culinary Arts preferred.


Knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, cost computation, comparative buying, inventory control.
Knowledge of Health Department requirements.
Knowledge of security issues of a multi-purpose facility.
Knowledge in daily cash operations.


Skill in food preparation.
Skill in supervising.
Skill in interpersonal, problem solving and decision making.
Skill in budget preparation and report writing.


Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and instructions.
Ability to meet and work with public, employees, co-workers, volunteers and management staff in a clear, professional and courteous manner.
Ability to plan, organize, manage, supervise and direct the activities of Guest Services and Concessions.
Ability to manage, train and supervise.
Ability to handle cash accurately.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast paced, event driven environment.

Pay Range

$26,158 - $27,500
