Detailed Job Description

Work with Departments in initiating and processing Affiliate Faculty contracts. Review contracts for accuracy and input into the HRIS systems as required in order to ensure that Affiliate Faculty are paid in a timely and accurate manner. Support HR Representatives on an as needed basis. Produces reports on an ad hoc basis.

This posting will be used to fill two positions.

Duties/Responsibilities

50% Affiliate Faculty: Work with Departments in initiating and processing Affiliate Faculty contracts. Review contracts for accuracy and input into the HRIS systems as required in order to ensure that Affiliate Faculty are paid in a timely and accurate manner.

25% Report Generation: Utilize various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook to compose and prepare correspondence, memos, documents, spreadsheets and maintain electronic calendar. Generates reports as directed by supervisor or AVP on a variety of data.

25% Other: Provides technical clerical support for all HR Staff using Banner, PeopleAdmin, HireRight, and other systems in inputting data.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of education is equal to two years of experience).
Experience working with People Admin, or equivalent Human Resource system.
Experience using Banner, or equivalent database system.
2 years’ experience working with human resource processes.
Experience working within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of experience working as a human resources professional.
Experience working with human resource processes in a college or university setting.
Advanced HRIS experience.
Effective communicator (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Strong record keeping ability.
Highly organized and thorough.
Positive attitude and highly self-motivated. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
A proven ability to work as a team player in a culturally-diverse environment
