Detailed Job Description

The Student Care Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance and coordination of services to students in distress.

Additional Department Summary:

The Student Health Center at the University of Alabama offers a full complement of services available to students to support their personal and academic success. The Dean of Students office is charged with oversight of the crisis response for students in distress. In difficult situations, which might include mental health, personal or family crisis, illness, or injury, a student might benefit from a coordinated needs assessment. The Crisis Intervention Specialist is responsible for responding to students in need during evening and weekend hours.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

A degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Sociology, Human Environmental Sciences or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience working in a crisis management office. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
