Provides student account and customer service support for the Bursar’s Office. Works the window and assists students, public, and campus employees with payment processing, account issues, and questions.
Graduation from a standard high school and any combination of post high school education and experience related to the summary of duties totaling one year
Knowledge of basic accounting, monies control, and security.
Knowledge of confidentiality and right to privacy issues.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Skill in the use of computers and computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing, etc.
Skill in operating standard office equipment (i.e., fax machine, copy machine, multiple phone lines, ten key, etc.).
Ability to follow directions and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work with the public and work well under pressure.
Ability to perform required tasks with precision and accuracy; must be detail oriented.
