Detailed Job Description
Full-time administrative position, subject to annual reappointment, reporting to the Director of the Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies (AIMS) and Provost's Office. The Associate Director is a proactive, detail-oriented position - helping to advance a variety of different strategic activities of AIMS.
Responsibilities include: enrollment management, assistance with searches, creation and implementation of student recruitment plan, recruitment and management of faculty and student workers, assessment activities, social media and website management and external promotions, alumni communications, facilitation of advisory boards, assistance with internship program, assistance with capstone course client acquisition and relationship-building, financial management, internal communications and service on committees, facilities management, curriculum management and scheduling.
Bachelor's degree; demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at once; strong communication and presentation skills; be detail-oriented and proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, able to set and manage goals, and be comfortable with technology.
Graduate degree; any experience in web development and academic program management.
