Required: Demonstrated leadership and effective management skills; ability to incorporate the SOPP diversity agenda, ability to work independently; ability to manage budgets and review financial reports; ability to plan and develop strategic goals; strong writing, public speaking and presentation skills; ability to form collaborative relationships within the University setting and the community; and the ability to transform organizations into highly effective units. The successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program, knowledge of the practitioner model of education in Clinical Psychology, be licensed or license eligible for the practice of psychology in the state of Ohio, and have a record in teaching, scholarship and service that meets the qualifications for faculty rank in the School.
To be considered at the Associate Professor level, candidates must have documented evidence of sustained and high quality scholarly/creative activity, practice, teaching, and an interest in developing grants and contracts. For the Full Professor level, candidates are additionally expected to be board certified and to have superior scholarly/creative activity, teaching or service recognized by others in the field at the national level.
Preferred: Experience in public policy advocacy on behalf of behavioral health issues and services. Experience in pursuing grant and service contract funding.
