Job Responsibilities

Serves as the main point of contact internally and externally for affiliate contracts and student compliance requirements

Serves as the administrator of the compliancy database

Reviews student Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) reports against the state, federal or other program licensing bodies and identifies students with potential issues for acceptance into a health career or nursing program

Collaborates with VP of Healthcare Education Initiatives regarding students found to ineligible for acceptance into their perspective program due to state, federal or other program licensing bodies

Conveys results to respective Deans, Associate Deans and/or Program Manager

Reviews and/or audits student and faculty immunization documentation to ensure compliance with contractual agreements

Reviews results of student drug screens

Conveys results to respective Program Managers and/or clinical sites of those students that do not meet contractual agreements

Reviews, manages and maintains confidential information in accordance with state, federal and other applicable laws and regulations

Initiates and renews contractual agreements between the College and the clinical affiliate

Ensures timely execution and renewal of requested contractual agreements between the College and the clinical affiliate

Consults with legal department for negotiations of non-standard agreements

Manages and maintains database of current clinical affiliate agreements

Communicates and collaborates with internal and external constituents to ensure student, faculty and staff understanding and adherence to compliancy requirements of affiliate contracts

Facilitates clinical affiliate specific on-boarding forms/processes for clinical rotations

Provides compliancy database orientations to faculty, staff and students

Communicates with compliancy database vendor to improve processes and resolution of issues

Collaborates with VP of Healthcare Education Initiatives for immunization interpretation and compliance issues

Provides programs with accurate and updated contract and compliancy information

Develops, updates, and maintains written compliancy and contract handbook that includes policies for BCIs, drug screens, immunization, CPR and/or other site-specific requirements (onboarding processes) based on affiliate contractual agreements and/or state or federal law

Updates and maintains standardized forms, letters, waivers releases and other clinical compliancy forms in accordance with applicable College policy, state, and federal law

Keeps current on laws and regulations related to compliancy that may affect student entry

Determines compliancy database access and provides authorization to program managers and or designee in accordance with departmental procedures

Updates and maintains student compliancy information on the College website

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of five years of compliance experience

Demonstrated experience effectively making decisions that have significant, broad implications on the management and operations of a division (or equivalent business area)

Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills

Possesses excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to foster a team environment and work collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Demonstrated experience with third part compliancy databases such as Verified Credentials, Certified Background, Corporate Screening, etc.

Demonstrated experience in clinical site contract negotiations

Demonstrated experience in a higher education environment

Demonstrated experience with Banner or equivalent system

Work Schedule

Standard college business hours of operation: M-F 8:30AM – 5PM. Evenings and weekends as needed and specified by supervisor.
