Job Responsibilities

Evaluates and documents the performance of tested software and the quality testing process to provide feedback to project team and management

Creates test plans and conducts testing for applications software changes and/or new releases

Responsible for requirement definition, design, testing of enterprise wide information systems, enhancements/upgrades, new application development and implementations, and enterprise reporting

Leads business teams to gather, analyze and document in-depth functional and technical requirements

Translates client use requirements into date models, technical specifications, and data mapping

Identifies, tracks, and communicates issues to resolution

Provides timely and concise summaries of work status to manager and to supported business units

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in relevant functional or technical fields

Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team

Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently

Possesses working knowledge of Application Software concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus

Demonstrated intermediate Visio and Banner System skills (or equivalent programs)

Demonstrated intermediate Project Management skills

Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access or equivalent software

Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills

Possesses excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to foster a team environment and work collaboratively

Ability to research and analyze issues and develop solutions

Ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks and work with deadlines in a dynamic environment

Works accurately with great attention to detail

Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships

Ability to confidentially and discreetly handle subject matters requiring privacy and sensitivity

Standard College hours of operation, M-F 8:30-5:00pm, evenings and weekends as needed and specified by supervisor.
