Detailed Job Description
Be responsible for recruiting a diverse population of international graduate students; supervise the processing and evaluation of approximately 800 applications from prospective international graduate students per year; assist with orientation and support of enrolled international graduate students; responsible for oversight and management of all aspects of the international graduate student recruitment, admissions, and retention processes; evaluate international transcripts in conjunction with the relevant academic programs; manage responses to inquiries from prospective students; be actively involved in recruitment of international students, which will include international and domestic travel as necessary; act as the Dean of the Graduate School's representative in all aspects of the international student recruitment, application and enrollment processes, including language skills assessment and the management of international graduate exchange and joint degree programs.
Bachelor's degree in a program with a significant international component; two years of experience in foreign credential evaluation and/or comparative education; willingness and ability to undertake domestic and international travel.
Master's degree in an applicable discipline; knowledge of web site management and information; significant cross-cultural or study abroad experience.
