Detailed Job Description
The Associate Director's primary function is to assist in the implementation of the Center for Women in Business (CWB) programs and to plan and execute CWB events.
Additional Description of Duties:
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Associate Director:
Assists in the implementation of "The Corporate Challenge Program" and other key events that might include conferences, keynotes, panels and workshops.
Supports events such as: "Gearing Up," "Resource Partner Workshop" and the "Challenge Company Peer Exchange."
Works with partnering companies and constituencies in the promoting and sponsoring of programs and special events.
Assists in generating revenue, through programming and initiatives, for the Center.
Utilizes strong human relations and communications skills in interacting with business executives and students and strong organization and communication skills around logistics and marketing for events.
Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of equivalent work experience including event planning and experience in a corporate or similar environment. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must be comfortable dealing diplomatically and effectively with internal and external constituents. Ability to work occasional early mornings and evenings required.
