The IT Technical Specialist II performs a broad scope of professional IT activities requiring experienced, professional knowledge and application of IT principles, practices and procedures. Usually requires evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

Additional Department Summary:

The Web Communications Specialist for Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Undergraduate Admissions family of websites, including (but not limited to) Undergraduate Admissions, Undergraduate Scholarships, Financial Aid, and Orientation.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and 1 year of experience in a relevant IT field (Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered), OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, education and/or certification from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been obtained. To be considered student experience, it must be detailed in the employment section on the application. Knowledge of intermediate programming, networking, system, multimedia or instructional technology skills. May require intermediate level training or certification.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. Skills and Knowledge:Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop or other image editing software and familiarity with standards-based web design practices. Experience and familiarity working with one or more of the following: WordPress, Javascript (jQuery), responsive web design, graphic design, typography, writing for the web.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, marketing, public relations, graphic design/art, or a related field and at least two years of experience in web communications, marketing, public relations or related experience 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
