PART-TIME ESOL TRANSITION GRAMMAR/WRITING INSTRUCTOR: ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS: (Lawrence Riverwalk Campus) Tuesday nights, 5:45PM-9:00PM, January, 2015 – (Anticipated Start Date: January 20, 2015.
This course is designed to (1) improve the writing skills necessary to succeed in College-level writing and emphasize the composition of essays with work on sentence and paragraph structure, (2) give attention to punctuation, grammar and spelling (3) increase reading skills.
Transition Instructors promote a student-centered, cooperative learning environment that integrates current adult learning theory, the MA DESE ABE Frameworks, College and Career Readiness Standards as well as developmental-level curriculum and active student participation.
Salary: $25.00 per hour, non-benefitted position
