Under the direction of the Director of the Center for Constitutional Studies, assists with a variety of Center activities, projects, and programs. Assist Director in Center event preparations and production of events. Acts as the Director’s liaison to the UVU student body and future UVU students. Performs Center film editing and webpage design assignments. Represents the Director and Center in a professional and pleasant manner.
High school diploma or equivalent education plus six months to one year of related experience is required.
Strong understanding of constitutional government, law, history, and theory. Experience with web page maintenance and design and film editing and graphic design.
Knowledge of basic concepts of constitutional government, law, history, and theory.
Knowledge of office protocol.
Skill in typing and computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Skill in in Adobe Suite or other film editing and graphic design program.
Skill in web page maintenance and design.
Ability to present to small and large groups.
Ability to participate in constitutionally-related activities.
Ability to represent the Center in a professional and pleasant manner.
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction will little supervision.
